Resident Events & Activites Overview

No matter what your interests are, Lutheran Senior Services of Dover has an activity or program that offers something for everyone.

We have a wide range of both creative and entertaining activities for daytime and nighttime. These include both large and small group activities such as:
  • ENTERTAINMENT (Bingo, Dominoes, Movie Night)
  • EXERCISE (Chair Yoga and Fitness Rooms)
  • HEALTH & WELLNESS PROGRAMS (Health Fairs, Meals on Wheels, Flu Shot Clinic)
  • DESTINATION OUTINGS (Field Trips to local attractions, Shopping twice per week)
  • EDUCATIONAL (Legal Assistance for Estate Planning, Guest Lecturers on a variety of topics)

Plus arts and crafts, ceramics, knitting groups, and religious gatherings. A calendar of events is included in our newsletter each month

Church Services are held every Sunday at both locations

Bingo is held at Luther Towers Activity Room every Wednesday and Friday and at Luther Village Activity Room every Thursday and Friday

Movie Night is held at both locations one time a month. Fun time to fellowship with other residents.

Field Trips are held for both campuses throughout the year. This was a trip to the Air Mobility Command Museum

Crochet Club is held at Luther Towers every Monday

Food Bank of Delaware offers a food distribution one time a month at both campuses for those who qualify.
